Welcome to New Quay Honey Farm
New Quay Honey Farm is set in beautiful unspoilt countryside only a few miles from New Quay in West Wales. It has a unique exhibition all about the life of the honeybee and a shop, tearoom and exhibition.
The farm’s hives are located all over the beautiful unspoilt county of Ceredigion, and this is why the honey and mead produced is some of the finest available. Our honeys and meads are also available from the online shop.
Honey Shop
The honeys and meads in the shop are all produced by our own bees. There are also beeswax candles, polish, cosmetics and lots more, as well as books on insects, wildlife and beekeeping.

Tea Room
Natural food, expertly prepared and served simply. Home made soups, organic bread, local cheeses, and fabulous honey cakes, not forgetting the honey cream tea and great coffee.

Meadery
A purpose built building where a truly authentic mead (fermented honey and water) is made. Unlike nearly all other mead makers, we actually make it as they did in the middle ages by fermentation. The meadery has a small exhibition about the history of mead and you can sample all the delicious varieties we make in the shop.

Exhibition
An amazing look at the extraordinary life of one of nature’s marvels, four live colonies behind glass, an opening hive that lets you look into the heart of the honeycomb; DVD displays and lots more. A tropical ant colony that never stops working.
