Our speciality meads are made with a view to combining particular flavours to produce exciting new drinks. So many country wines are made with the addition of sugar, but all we add to the fruit is honey. This gives the resultant wine a complexity and character that is exceptional. These wines can be drunk in a variety of ways, and tasting notes are provided with each case.

Ginger Mead
One of our most popular meads. The ginger and honey perfectly combine in a great winter warmer. Bronze Medal winner.

Raspberry Mead
The taste of raspberries and honey, with a slight raspberry tartness.

Apricot Mead
Fruity, with an almond aroma, and with the complex sweet, nutty taste of apricots.

Heather Honey Mead
The nearest thing to a liqueur. Quite sweet with an intense nose and flavour of heather honey, ideal as a dessert wine and really good with cheese and winner of the champion mead trophy at last year's National Wine & Liqueur Awards.

Blackberry Mead
The full fruit flavour comes through in this mead which is very popular in tastings in our shop.
